This is a wonderful project using the simplest and cheapest of supplies: popsicle sticks, tissue paper, white glue and scissors. Using the popsicle stick as the unit of measurement you glue sticks into geometric shapes of triangles, squares and diamonds. Then precut triangle, diamond and square shapes of colored tissue paper that are slightly larger than the openings of popsicle shapes are glued with thin lines of white glue. This creates geometric translucent shapes that are like stain glass. These are then glued together overlapping the popsicle sticks to create structures like rose windows and pyramids.
